everywhere I look, I see your eyes

I tuned in to hear my theme song being completed live.... LIVE in the moment, here in Buenos Aires! That´s right, the Rolling Stones are here and the concert was broadcast live last night throughout the country. They preform again Thursday evening, I`m looking forward to another live show!!!!! Who needs a concert ticket for $160+, all the sweat, blood and tears of being herded with thousands of other people when you can enjoy their melodies from the comfort of your own home? I`m floored, does any other country do this?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL!
my dear oldest brother turns 40 today :) I guess that means he`s over the hill...however, there are no hills where he is -only mountains- and surely he`s nowhere near peaking. I hope that in 14 more years I look as good as you... in a feminine sort of way- and have all that spunk! lucky me :) we have the same genes :) sending all my love to you, old man. xoxo
oh, and... thanks for teaching me how to play chess when I was like 4... I have taken it up now, 20 some years later and no longer dislike the game because I don`t understand it. It all came back to me fairly quickly as I won the first game that I played. Now I`m somewhat of an addict- can`t wait to play the champ sometime.

this is Gustavo. He is 9. He speaks Guarani and Spanish. He sells caramels and candies to people on the street in Asuncion. The sale usually takes place during or after a meal. We saw him twice at the same restaraunt, and decided he should probably join us. His mother watched from across the street as her son choose mashed potatoes off the menu.

A chill afternoon at a park in Buenos Aires... these guys were practicing for the circus I think.

Negro and cousins, Paula 14, and Julieta. We went out for drinks after dinner one night. As we sipped drinks and the night air- Paula was right there with us, chewing bubble gum at 1 and 2am. I´m telling you, they are trained much earlier than 14 to stay up all hours.
