tonight's the night.
I've been REVVVVED up for a good 21 hours now…maybe I'm pumping myself up for an ultimate disappointment
NO.
couldn't be. Tonite I take a walk down memory lane. I see good GREAT friends, play pool, mingle and DANCE. Tonite I go to St. Cloud.
ahhhh…yes, Cloud. I think the last time I partied in St. Cloud- I mean really partied was about 4 years ago. Of course it won’t be as it was back then- familiar bouncers/bartenders/patrons. There will be an entirely fresh pack of newly legal, loud and rowdy college drunks, the room smoke filled, and I will likely have an unfortunate encounter with fresh vomit in a bathroom stall or sink. Tomorrow I will surely wake up without a voice from the smoky lounges.
Worth it? Maybe, maybe not. Time will tell. Granted, I’m stoked to get in the groove. One of the bands that we often danced the night away to will be playing at the Red Carpet too! A very pleasant surprise for a rockin’ nite ahead on this, Dody’s birthday.
